Starbolt 9 is melodious space rock, conceived by stellar frontman Jo Phantastici, strongly influenced by classic glam rock and modern Brit-pop, and by artists such as David Bowie, Suede, and The Verve. Phantastic is joined by the hypnotic harmony of guitarist Mik Rodriguez, the elegant power guitar of Dr. Michael Fate, and the rhythmic pulse of drummer Patsy-A-Go-Go. Starbolt 9 has now become New York City's foremost neo-glam band.

Starbolt 9 has played at such prestigious NYC venues as Mercury Lounge, Sin-e, Luna Lounge, Crash Mansion, The Rothko, The Village Underground, Don Hill's, and Lit Lounge. They have played alongside notable bands such as Slinky Vagabond, We Are The Fury, and The Mood. They have performed live for 107.7 WACC in Connecticut.
