the Handslick Revolution @ Eschatone Records
The Hanslick Rebellion went away; now they're back. That's pretty much all you need to know. Untouched by time, unmoved by fashion and unconstrained by genre, armed with zero pretensions and the nastiest lyrics in the biz, The Rebellion is here to make you shake your ass... by any means necessary.

There had been songwriting credits: tunes recorded by Daniel Johnston, King Missile, the surviving Ramones. But neither Jed nor Mike, nor guitarist Alex Dubovoy and drummer Mike Kearns, felt like they had ever approached the power and passion they once generated together. After a series of chance meetings, they agreed to put all the old baggage aside and just jam. One time.
