the Sweet Ones on Myspace

While growing up skating half-pipes in barns in wintry Syracuse, New York, Doug Cote was stealing Misfits and Descendants cassettes from the mall record store. Thus the seeds were planted for The Sweet Ones, but it would take him 15 years and few different bands until settling into Los Sweet Ones.

With a stoke of luck, Doug found Mikey Straus on Craig’s List, of all places, with an ad titled ‘Will play bass for Beer’. The Sweet Ones we’re born as a Power Trio with Old friend Matt Brundrett on Drums. A year later Ryan Havers an NYU Guitar prodigy was added to band.

In conclusion...... THE SWEET ONES- Formed over two years ago by Doug Cote- Based out of NYC. Ingredients....... 1 part Punk, 2 parts rock, 3 cups of sweat, and a little TLC- Stir that shit until it froths.
